Find where to recycle everything in your neighborhood!www.Earth911.org -or- 1-800-CleanUp Diabetes InfoNative American Multicultural Education School MovingThe Native American Multicultural Education School (NAMES) is moving to a temporary classroom space at the Denver Indian Family Resource Center at 393 South Harlan St., in Lakewood, CO. (between Sheridan and Wadsworth, one block south of Alameda.) The classroom will be open on Monday, May 3. NAMES’ Executive Director, Lynda Nuttall, invites students, new and old to visit the new space. In these tight economic times, it makes sense for non-profits to look for new ways to work together. Our mission has not changed. We remain dedicated to providing Adult Basic Education and GED preparation to any youth or adults who are willing to learn, improve their education, increase career opportunities, and build their leadership potential on their walk in this world of many cultures. The Native American Multi-Cultural Education School (NAMES) is an open enrollment, community-based, adult education school. NAMES specializes in providing a culturally sensitive and respectful environment for Native American, Latino, and other youth and adults. NAMES helps our students to develop basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills, study for the General Education Diploma (GED) tests, and prepare for higher education.
