Make an "instant pledge" to support alterNATIVE VOICES! Use the "Donate" button, or send a check or money order to the address below! alterNative Voices is an Independent Production. Independent means just that; Independent of any station or network. We pay our own expenses. No station or network pays us for the program or any of our expenses. We have no grants, seldom if ever, an underwriter and none of the information included here is paid advertising. You know this all can't be free! And it's not! Somehow we volunteers have kept it together for 10 years with no frills; depending on the sales of books and music to help pay those bills for necessities to produce radio.
For those who pledge to your local public radio station when we ask you to do that, your pledge stays at the station. alterNative Voices does not share in your pledge dollars and we thank you for supporting your local station. Still we have to make alterNative Voices happen for your enjoyment. Now, will those of you who passed on the station pledge drives support alterNative Voices directly with a check or money order? Send us your $89 pledge of support and we will send you a selection of books and music by and about Native America. You know, like a station pledge, but direct to alterNative Voices production fund.
Be sure to include your return address for your surprise collection of books and music. All products are new and valued at least half of your instant pledge. Premium gifts may not be returned. Enclose a note and indicate your music interest - traditional or contemporary and your reading interest: fiction or non-fiction. Or visit alterNative Voices tables at a community event and make a substantial purchase of books, music, and crafts. That way you choose your 'premiums'!
